About Us
What makes us different?
From the moment that you arrive in the office, you know that this will be a unique experience for a visit to a healthcare provider. The soothing colors and beautiful, comfortable furnishings warm the spirit. There is a computer for you to check your email or surf the net. The office also provides wireless access to the Internet for your computer.
Large screen television with educational spots about current healthcare issues directed to women play throughout the office hours. You can also help yourself to complimentary bottled water.
Please notice the artwork throughout the office carefully selected by Dr. Kulbersh and his wife, Jane. It is a celebration to the many and varied cultures that make up our practice. All are welcome here.
We make every attempt to remain on schedule. If we should become over 45 minutes late for your appointment, we can provide you a cell phone and we will call you when it is time to return for prompt service. We know that your time is important.
In each exam room, we provide a warm and luxurious spa robe and a real sheet for your comfort. No paper here. There is a heat lamp directly above the exam tables with the controls at your fingertips. Each room has full cable television and you control the remote. Speculums are always warmed. We will do everything that we can to make exams as comfortable as possible.
We go to great lengths to try to put you at ease, but what we value the most is providing you with a warm, helpful, and courteous staff and physicians who have the right mix of knowledge and compassion.
Dr. Kulbersh has been a leader and a pioneer in offering alternative procedures to hysterectomy and sterilization in the office. He speaks all over the country, presents papers to OB/GYN national meetings and publications, and regularly entertains physicians from all over the U.S. to view his techniques. Alice Wyatt is thoroughly trained to provide care under the physician's supervision. Dr. Kulbersh has personally trained Dr. Imperial in performing office procedures.
The office has the most advanced technical equipment that can be found in a physician's office. The procedure rooms meet standards for providing total anesthesia by a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA as well as all recommended safety and emergency equipment. Kulbersh Surgery Center is a AAAASF certified surgical center.
As a patient of Kulbersh Women’s Center, you will receive a SecuReach card. The SecuReach system will be your personal, confidential mailbox in which to receive results of any labs or studies done as well as nurse or physician messages.
So come to our office and be comfortable that we care about your health and your safety. We show it in everything that we do. It is all about your comfort.
To make, cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call (803) 732.4608 during office hours. If you are making an appointment, please inform us of the reason of your visit so we can allocate the proper amount of time for your visit. Our office visits are by appointment only. If you have an acute problem, we will try to accommodate you the same day.
If this is your first visit, please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the medical history and registration forms. Have your medical insurance card and any important medical records with you. Please inform us about any health problems, allergies and any medications you are taking.
